
Brow Aftercare Guide
At Body & Brows by Ana, we want your brows to heal beautifully and naturally. Proper aftercare is essential for long-lasting results after microblading, nano brows, or powder brows.
Please follow these instructions closely and save this page for reference during your healing journey.
First 24 Hours
Day 1 – Immediate Care

Gently tap brows with cotton rounds and bottled water at:

Do NOT apply any products today

Keep brows clean and dry

Avoid touching with unwashed hands
⚠️ Important: No ointment on Day 1.
Days 2–5

Apply aftercare cream twice daily (morning & night)

Use only a rice-grain amount per brow with a clean finger
-
Brows may appear darker — this is normal
If you have oily skin:

From Day 3–5, gently cleanse brows before bed using a mild cleanser (CeraVe or Cetaphil)

Pat dry
After Day 5, keep brows as dry as possible — discontinue aftercare cream.
Healing Timeline – What to Expect
Day 1:
Brows look fresh and bold — excitement phase!
Days 2–4:
Brows appear darker and thicker — totally normal.
Days 5–10:
Scabbing and itching may occur.

Days 10–14:
Brows may look very light — pigment is settling under the skin.
Days 15–30:
Color gradually returns.
After Touch-Up:
Final results appear balanced and beautiful.
Trust the process — healing happens in layers.
Precautions (Days 6–14)
Avoid:

Washing brows directly

Sweating or heavy workouts

Sun exposure or tanning
-
Scratching or rubbing
-
Makeup on brows
-
Hot showers on brows (use visor if needed)

Excess water exposure

Botox, lasers, or chemical peels

Sleeping on your face
These steps protect pigment retention and prevent irritation.
